Staying Energized

There’s a much healthier way to staying energized than gulping down energy drink
after energy drink. It’s also easier than you think. You just have to follow
these steps for about a week and the results will start showing.
It’s easy to give up but trust me, stick with it and your
body will start having more energy naturally.
Let’s take a look at what you need to
do to get energized in 2010!

Stay Hydrated

This is one of the most important steps to feeling more energetic. There are
are so many people that don’t get enough water in a day. Water helps
our body function well and cleanses our system. Drink at least
8 glasses a day. No exceptions. You’ll notice the change
right away. Your thinking will be sharper and
you’ll feel awake. Your body actually
looks better with water too!

Sleep Enough

We work hard but resting is just as important. If we lack rest, our brain
doesn’t get enough time to “re-charge”. In the long run, it makes
our bodies weaker. Each person needs a different amount
of rest but 7-9 hours is typical. Also, try taking naps
during the day if you can. Make your sleep
times the same. Our body loves it
when we are in routine.

Exercise

Cardio and weight training. It’s very important. Try at least 30 minutes
a day, 3 times a week. If you’re just starting, don’t overwhelm
yourself. Start slow until your body gets used to it. Once
exercising becomes a part of your life, the change
will be amazing. Your body will feel alive.
You will be physically and mentally
fit! Not to mention look great!

Relax

What do I mean by relaxing? Relax your mind. Take time each day to just
sit down and do nothing. Meditate. It will help relieve the daily
stress that drains our energy. When we take time to relax
our thoughts, it helps us think clearer throughout
the day. It also helps us sleep better at night.
Listen to peaceful music, sit outside,
or just lay down for a little bit.
